Katydid™ Wood Stove

 Introducing the Katydid™…

katydid-1The newest gasifier wood stove by Unforgettable Fire, LLC, and also known as the Kimberly™ stove’s “bigger, little sister”.

As the story goes…. Unforgettable Fire, LLC was getting request after request to build a wood stove as amazing as the Kimberly™ stove, but one that is less costly, and with more heat output for a bigger home.

Not only did they meet the requests of their followers, but Unforgettablefirellc surpassed their goal by leaps and bounds! The Katydidgasifier wood stove is a force to be reckoned with.

Katydid™ will roll off the production line this October, and is expected to be EPA/CSA certified and UL-Listed by the end of 2013. We are currently accepting orders for anyone living in a non required certified state or for those who just want to get their hands on one now so that they’re ready to start burning by then.

katydid-2Standing at 38 inches tall and weighing only 150 pounds, the Katydid™ packs a punch with her efficiency.  In preliminary testing, Katydid’s BTU heat output is a staggering 85,000 or better, providing heat for up to 3,000 square feet of well-insulated space.

The Katydid™ is similar to the Kimberly™ in that it offers a secondary combustion, causing smokey gases to ignite and burn clean, before escaping out the chimney, thereby squeezing every possible BTU out of a load of fuel.

The Katydid™ boasts a trim profile a 12 x 12 inch footprint. Katydid’s firebox is five times the size the Kimberly™ stove. One load of fuel in a Katydid™ can burn up to 12 hours. Optional add-on accessories include a thermo-electric generating unit, which is currently available. In prototype and coming soon are a baking oven, blower fan and water coils to produce radiant heat.

The Katydid Facts.. Will easily expect to exceed its 5 year warranty with optimal performance. We know you will enjoy many years of guaranteed warmth.
